2016 B Side North Coast Pinot Noir
#18-19

The B Side Pinot Noir is a two way winner, in that it is quite good, and it is hard to beat in the twenty dollar Pinot Noir price range.  The wine is produced by Don Sebastiani and Sons Winery from the other side of Napa, or the B Side.  It bears the North Coast designation..
This Pinot Noir is ruby red in color with a big jammy nose, and an array of flavors.  It is very Pinot Noir in character, with an abundance of black cherry and plum, and tones of strawberry scattered through out its spectrum.  It is full bodied and has a very satisfying finish, which begs for another sip  The alcohol content is 14.5%, and Norm's score is 90.
We enjoyed this wonderful bottle of wine with a sirloin tip roast, steamed carrots, and roasted new potatoes, sided with a fresh garden salad.  Also, if you like red wine with salmon, you will love this one!

score: 90
price: $18 - $22
